Here's a good one for the boonex gurus...
Is it possible to make a predefined value list that not only shows the values I've entered but also updates to include an entry given by the front end member as an "other" option.
In my mind this is easily accomplished and already used for some functions like categories (at least on Modzzz mods) where if you want to add a different category you make your own and for future uses that is in the available drop-down list as well.
Here's why I'd like this and I'd assume it would be valuable to many boonex site owners
I've got a new predefined value list which I've added say 100 "group" names. When someone joins or wants they can choose which "group" they are part of they can select one. But often times groups change or are added and it's difficult for me to keep up with. So as an option there is "other" which gives them a text field to fill in the "group" they're part of. Once saved that value is added to the predefined values and any future users who see the drop down see that value as well.
I'd think this is a critical feature to help keep content updated without relying on administrator to constantly scour for relevant updated information. What better way to get our users to help us keep up to date.
