These are some of the misused words that drive me nuts when I see them. Some of them aren't even words.
1. alot This is not a word. Stop using it as such.
2. allot This IS a word. It means 'to allocate' Please stop using it to describe a quantity. Use either the two word combination of 'a lot', or some other commonly used term, like shit load, or boat load.
3. noone Please stop this immediately. It's two words... no one. 'Noone' is not a word in any language that I know of.
4. intergrate Kindly do not say that you want to 'intergrate' something into Dolphin. The word is integrate. It means to combine, or to bring together.
5. nat Someone here on unity used this frequently. Please stop. I can't take it anymore. The word is not n-o-t .... not. Please learn it.
6. ur Please go buy a consonant and a vowel. Seriously.... how hard can it be to type those two extra letters?
7. gr8 Come on. The English language does not have a single word that contains a number in its spelling.
8. peeps This is another one I hate. It sounds like you're referring to baby chickens.
9. Dolphine What's with the 'e' on on the end? Somebody explain this to me.

I approve of this list. I also suggest anyone having trouble writing properly on this forum consider the After the Deadline extension for Firefox, which covers both spelling and grammar checking, among other things. This post isn't about those whose native language is not English.

Hey Deano.... How do you change the look of a check box in D7? It's driving me nuts.
I have not had much luck with check boxes or radio buttons. Drop down lists also have limits.
I have been looking into using javascript. I had this bookmarked for when i found the time to play with it. http://ryanfait.com/resources/custom-checkboxes-and-radio-buttons/
It might help you out.
