I just upgraded a site from 7.1.4 to 7.3.4 and there was a lot involved. Even from 7.2 to 7.3.4 there are several upgrades required:

From Dolphin 7.2.0.RC to 7.2.0. Released on September 1 2015
From Dolphin 7.2.0 to 7.2.1. Released on October 19 2015
From Dolphin 7.2.1 to 7.3.0. Released on March 4 2016From Dolphin 7.2.1 to 7.3.0.B1. Released on January 27 2016
From Dolphin 7.3.0.B1 to 7.3.0.B2. Released on February 10 2016
From Dolphin 7.3.0.B2 to 7.3.0.RC. Released on March 1 2016
From Dolphin 7.3.0.RC to 7.3.0. Released on March 4 2016
From Dolphin 7.3.0 to 7.3.1. Released on June 21 2016
From Dolphin 7.3.1 to 7.3.2. Released on August 4 2016
From Dolphin 7.3.2 to 7.3.3. Released on November 2 2016
From Dolphin 7.3.3 to 7.3.4. Released on October 17 2017
From Dolphin 7.3.4 to 7.3.5. Released on March 26 2018

You can't just jump from one to the other I'm afraid. If you have any third party extensions installed, you will need to check with the vendor or visit the Boonex Market to see if the modules have been upgraded to run on 7.3.4 or 7.3. Good luck there.

I'm not offering to do the job, but consider carefully who you get to do it, especially if modules are involved and even more so if they've been modified. I've heard several unpleasant stories about some of the willing helpers out there.

If you have a lot of changes and can't do an upgrade yourself, I recommend reaching out to AntonLV and asking about his upgrade service. He might be able to help.

No no no, you don't include the betas and release candidates in the upgrades.  I have mentioned this before and I think it should be more clean on the upgrades page.  I think this is why so many people end up trashing their sites when performing upgrades.

If you are interested I do upgrades for a fee.  Send me a PM.

Note that if you have modules from third party vendors that change core files; those will have to be applied back at the end of the upgrades.  Upgrading modules is not part of the Dolphin upgrades; that would be an additional fee

Denre also offers a migration service.  It might be possible to migrate your site from 7.1.4 to 7.3.5.  However, that might be more costly than just paying for an upgrade service.
