Please help!

I have been trying to figure out how to change my home page. I really do not understand the concept of CSS, so is there any other way to change the home page?  I'm sure this question has been answered by someone?  I went through the forums to get the answere but that is how I've come up with the CSS. There is a lot of templets that I seen as free and I downloaded a few. I am not a computer programer. I haven't made a website in years and when I did it was with Frontpage so this may tell you of what I know. If there is a way I will try to find it, but as it stands I am a bit confuse to what I need to do in order to change my home page. Thanks

Log into your server via an FTP client such as WinSCP or FileZilla or Putty and then upload the template file you purhased to the template/folder.  You'll see in the same folder it should have tmpl_uni as a folder too.  Don't overwrite tmpl_uni just add your new template folder to it.  Then go into your Admin Panel to Advanced Settings and scroll down, change the drop down menu from tmpl_uni to whatever template you uploaded is named and it will all change.

Also, if you want to play and learn download firefox browser and then an add on called firebug.  Bring up your site and on the right side after you click on the little bug it will have the css for your site.  You can play with it, change colors, move things, add borders & margins & so on to it without damaging the sites files.
