Please Help with install and migration

Hope someone can help really want to get stuck into RC1, Am i right in saying there is no upgrade script for 6.1.6 so you have to use the migration module? I read that to use the migration you have to install Rc1 on the same database, where do i install RC1 as i want it under the same domain as my 6.1.6 site is on? as in install it in the same folder as 6.1.6?? I certainly wouldn't install it in the same folder!   Did you install in a subdirectory?  If so, install in a different subdirectory.  For example, if your d6 site is in mysite/members you could install d7 in mysite/community - then if it works, delete /members and rename /community to /members.  If you installed in the root there is a solution also, but it is a bit more complicated.
