I had the same issue.  Your php configuration has changed when moving. At least it was my problem.  It takes a lot of memory to process the thumbnails and images.  Go to your php configuration and increase memory_limit to 300M .  That works nicely for my server anyway.  Keep in mind someone might disagree with that number its a touch higher than you need but if you are on VPS your most likely fine.  Let me know if that does it.  Remember to allow 20 minutes (sometimes faster or slower) to allow the php configuration changes to propagate.  If that does not fix it then you have another issue most likely something related to moving process. Probably not needed I'm not sure but it might be, it never hurts to clear your cache (admin, tools, cache) see updated effects of some changes.

If you are running php as an Apache mod, then you need to restart Apache for the changes to be picked up.  The propagate thing is due to the way Apache handles php; it spawns a new instance of PHP when a script is called.  So restart Apache when making changes to php.ini.  Of course there are methods to work around this build+destroy method of running php but I won't go into them here.

Geeks, making the world a better place
