Periodic Notification Emails

Yesterday, a site with V6.1.4 started sending Periodic Notification emails that say " Already done today, bailing out".

What is this all about? How do I stop it? Where does this message come from?

Another one of the emails has the following in it:

- Membership expiration letters -
Send membership expire letters: 0 letters

- Temporary files check -
Total temp files: 6
Deleted temp files: 0

- Database cleaning -
Deleted profiles: 0
Deleted virtual kisses: 0
Deleted messages: 0
Deleted private messages: 0
Deleted profile views: 0

- Modules check -
Profiles processed successfully

I stopped all of the emails from being sent by disabling Cupid/Matchmaking emails in Advanced Settings. Uncheck the appropriate boxes and click Save Changes.
