Paypal

Hello, I am wanting to insert some payment method for my site. That sounds easy...but my site will be for virtual and instant downloads. So my problem is with Paypal is that you must manually process any payments which kind of defeats the idea. I cannot afford to check the site every minute of every day. If was goods then that would be ok, so my problem is is there a module to help or another payment method I could use which would work? Customers purchases and customer gets straight away automated :)

Any ideas fols...Sorry if this has been asked before, did try to find similiar posts to no gain!

Thanks Dane..

PayPal works with IPN(Instant Payment Notification)

You can automate the Payments using PayPal.

If there is no such option in Dolphin you will have to do a custom modification.

I do not know if there is a mod made by another developer that can be useful for you.

Try to wait for some other answers.

If there are no modules available, we can maybe do a custom one for you, just PM me if you want.

Thanks for the reply, yeah Paypal does send me IPN's but it just hangs there in Admin until I process it. Thatis crazy when a customer buys to access a feature/contest..When I do log on and authorise it it seems to work and the customer gets the points, but could be a day later! will PM you soon.

Thanks Dane...

Hi both, I would also be interested in a module where I can setup instant file downloads on payment.

I have this on other websites, but not set up in Dolphin.

Ideal for me would be a module where I can set the 'for sale' page, and the 'return' page in admin and set as many different products as needed.

So, customer goes to an item for sale, makes payment, then gets re-directed to download page for that item.

Making it in admin so that any items can be added and also that these download pages are secure would be the tricky bit I guess.

Am willing to look at commisioning a module for it, maybe dplant chip in also?

How much would it be?

Hello

For such questions I think it's much better to use the proper section.

You can open a job offer in the Jobs Area.

I will send a PM to discuss about features and prices, or I can bid on your job offer.

The forum it's not a good place where to talk about prices =D

Thanks
