I have just set up payment options for memberships. I have used the payment module then in boonex settings / advance settings / general - find the payment option and select payments. Not sure if this is the same as store but if a member wants to upgrade via profile account it adds the membership to the basket. So because of this i assume it will work with the store too. X |
Thanks for your answer but that was not the question. I am wondering about having both the Payments module and the PayFlow module installed and active at the same time; how this works, does it work, or are these modules designed to be one or the other for processing payments on a site? Come on Alex, why didn't you answer this? Documentation is horrible in Dolphin; it is all asking in the forums and guessing. Geeks, making the world a better place |
Yes, the documentation really needs to be updated or better to be written. I am loosing so many hours just for searching, asking and trying.
You could or should write an online handbook. We all would save on time asking for stupid questions. |
Hello Yes, both modules (Payment and PayPal PayFlow) can be installed at the same time. However only one can be used. As jamiej mentioned above, there is the 'Payment module' setting in Admin panel -> Settings -> Advanced settings -> General. It determines the payment module which is currently used in the system. The other payment modules will be ignored even if they are installed, activated and configured. |
