PayPal email address error

Is there someone ther who knows how to solve this issue?

1. I have created everything with PayPal.

2. I have set everything in the payment settings

3. When I test payed I received this from PayPal -

"We cannot process this transaction because there is a problem with the PayPal email address supplied by the seller. Please contact the seller to resolve the problem. If this payment is for an eBay listing, you can contact the seller via the "Ask Seller a Question" link on the listing page. When you have the correct email address, payment can be made at www.paypal.com."

It can be tricky to set up paypal. I know Boonexnerd.com does have a tutorial on this that is pretty useful.

Firstly though you need to make sure your email address is working correctly. Make sure also that it is registstered with paypal as an official address.

I would also be suspcicious of the fact that you may be trying to test the setup using the same email you have registered with at paypal, in other words I dont think the buyers and sellers email address can be the same.

When I set up my system I temporarily set up a low payment level and emailed a friend who used his paypal account to join. I then paid him back. Then once I knew it was working I reset my membership prices back to normal.

This is just an update as I have resolved my issue with setting up PayPal and so if anyone else is having a problem here is what I think will be the most likely resolution, well it was for me anyway.

Basically it is very straight forward to setup.  Anyone with experience of setting up a PayPal account and creating/configuring a shopping cart should have no problem with what is needed to get Dolphin & PayPal to be good understanding friends that team up to earn you some change.

But here's the rub: Where it ask for Business [Admin-Settings-Payment Settings-(PayPal Settings-Business)] what it really should be asking you to set is the email address and not a business name.  This is the email address that is passed to PayPal when a user clicks the payment button.  Hey presto cash in your account..
