Pay with credit card for membership

Hi all,

I want that my members can pay with credit card the membership, and not only with paypal.

How can I do this? Please?

You're not going to find a how-to in the forum, if that's what you're asking.

If you are taking credit card details yourself for payment, then you may need a data protection license...... BIG BUCKS..... it's worth finding out, you would also need a merchant account with your bank or the use of a third party to process the transactions (which will cost).

I would let paypal take the strain...

i would suggest martinboi's subscription module and authorize.net as the payment processor.

you can also get in touch with martinboi and see if he will write google checkout to the subscription module.

there are other methods of accepting credit card, none of which i would recommend using the dolphin system, there is no security, at least not enough to be taking credit card information.

use something that has already been proven to work and that is martinboi's subscription module and authorize.net as the processor.

they can pay with cc over at paypal all they have to do is select to pay by credit card lol..

yeah the inquiry was payment with CC and not via paypal. some people have a dislike for paypal, and for their own reasons do not wish to do business with them. also, there are some adult novelty sites that are not allowed to process payments via paypal.

 I didnt know paypal was like that about some adult site... see.. you learn somthing new every day...      : )

i had an adult site and was using ccbill. Prob was with VISA and their greed. If you have any kind of possible high risk site for a dating site or whatever (they must approve it first). You will have to pay $600 just to apply to the visa companies or a few years ago that is the way it was. Its nothing but capitolism. I know more and more business have stopped using visa even locally owned businesses. I think that may be the issue with paypal. you get a few people wanting refunds and RED FLAG.

There is more to this but i am sure ya get the just of it without me rambling on.

Using the word capitolism i thought of the US GOVERMENT, EXXON/MOBLIE right away...lol

Alertpay is a viable option, and they don't have the no-adult policy (unless they've changed recently). There are mods avail that allow the memberships to be processed w/ Alertpay, too. Although I never had ANY LUCK at all w/ any of the membership mods. And I think I tried every single one! For those who want to pay outside of paypal, I just process them manually - I have them contact me, pay for their membership & I set it up myself. Good luck.
