I don't know what i tweaked in administration, but I seem unable to log back into anything on my site.
I've done the forgotten password, I even changed the files within PHPAdmin. It still prompts me

Like I said something is broken, I know the password, it just wont work.
I even did the password reset, put in that password and its still giving me the error.
I even went into the tables and entered in a new password and it still doesnt work. No logins on the site work anymore.

Dosdawg - no, there is no "forgot password" for the admin password.
edo - by any chance do you have another install? I did an new installation too quickly the other day, and brilliantly forgot to put in a admin name and password (not a required field Boonex!)
What I did was copy the admin record in another install where I knew the password - amazingly it worked. There is another procedure here that uses a password decryption site, but it looked kind of messy. Boonex should at least come up with a procedure for when this happens.

Technically, you can use the forgot password for your Admin as well. Only thing you have to fill out in RC3 is the email address associated with the account. Since the Admin is also a member, it will work for them as well. :)

I stand corrected - but why isn't his working? |
Rob (and everyone else) I may have missed something here, where is the "forgot password" not working? When you type in the email address, the email is not sent? The actual link not working?
We have seen issues where if the member is using a @gmail address, site emails tend to go directly to the spam folder. Make sure you are checking there as well.

It happens to all accounts, including my admin account.
If I sign up for a new account, and everything, I validate it, and the password wont work. It just seems like no matter what password, it won't accept it.
Like I've stated, I've gone into the MYSQL, forcibly changed the password, and it still won't work on either a admin or a guest user account.
Seems like I'm the only one encountering this, but I wish I remembered what I tweaked for this to happen so no one will run into this again.
