Hello, getting error message...

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';', expecting T_FUNCTION in /home/u4jesus/public_html/inc/classes/BxDolJoinProcessor.php on line 1


When trying to modify the free auto friend mod for my Dolphin 7.0.9.  Please help, thank you in advance.

Check to make sure you correctly placed the added code without adding anything extra. Attach your file here if you want so I can take a look at it.

Please note I am using Notepad++ and the code I added which was provided from http://www.boonex.com/forums/topic/Auto-Friend-for-D7.htm is somewhere around line 498 - 500.  Thanks.

Replace the file with the original one from the Dolphin zip... then add the code again using Wordpad..

 No, Wordpad... the editor that comes with Windows that is more php friendly.. still not my 1st choice but it will do.

Yeah, Wordpad IS... Notepad isn't.... I'm sure Microsoft had a reason for this but It's beyond me.

You should try Aptana Studio if you are going to do any coding.

I REALLY enjoy it (the linux and mac version, not sure how the windows version works).

It has a built in terminal window (which I find indispensable when searching for those pesky strings), and a nice FTP client built in as well.

I am only promoting it because I have been coding for a LLLLOOONNNGGG  time and this one has suited me the best.
