Parse error

Hi Everyone:

My site is inaccessible because of this error, coming out of nowhere: 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE in /home/............./public_html/cache/db_sys_alerts_7496e3cd22b631204b736fcc23b6336a.php on line 897

There's just a white screen, reading what's highlighted above. Has anyone came across this and can provide any suggestions?

Try clearing out /cache (except for the .htaccess file).

I answered your PM but Nathan has replied here as well.  Clear out the /cache and /cache_public leaving the .htaccess in place.  Dolphin will rebuild the files in those caches.  If the error still appears after clearing the caches, let us know.

I went ahead and cleared cache in both files. 

My site is accessible now and the error message is gone.

But the homepage is taking long to load and doesn't display properly when it's loaded. When signing in as a member, everything is fine. It's just the homepage when not logged in that is displaying improperly.

OK, log into your admin; go to tools caches and clear all caches, including template caches.  You may need to clear your browser cache as well.  Reload the main page and see if that helps.  When I visited the site, it appear the template was not loading correctly.

I went ahead and cleared cache; all, template, browser. I'm still having the same issues with the homepage. I'm seeing the issue now even when logged in. I reloaded and cleared cache in different browsers too. Still no resolve though.

What's the site URL? What happens if you turn off CSS and JS cache and compression?
