Have un-installed 2.0.1 and successfully installed 2.0.2

Module is still not working and holds some of the same bugs as reported previously.

1) Buyer B orders a gig from seller S and pays through Paypal
2) The full payment from Buyer B goes to The website paypal account.
3) Buyer B is redirected back to the Gigs page
4) There is no notification to the Buyer B or to the Seller S that there has been any order. Only thing visible is in the paypal account that money has been deducted to The website.
5) The instructions to the Buyer B is also never shown
6) In the Admin panel for the Gig there is also no sign off any order

The initial money transaction from buyer to websites paypal account is successful.
The communication of an order being placed is not.

Since there is no communication off an order having been placed then the Buyer will be cheated on his purchase. Since the money the buyer pays goes to the website owner's account the owner will be blamed.

Please address this urgently.

Check your spam folder, the messages most likely are going there. The Seller is notified (via email) of every order that is placed. This functionality has been tested and confirmed to be working as it should. If you do not see the messages in spam then you will need to contact me with your site details so your site can be specifically checked.

On the product description page, there is a block (Regular Active Orders) that shows all the outstanding orders to the product owner. In the Statistics block, it also shows the number of unfulfilled orders. Therefore, product sellers have other means of knowing that orders have been placed.

IMPROVEMENTS THAT ARE BEING WORKED ON :

-  Notifications will be sent to site inbox in addition to external email.

- I am presently doing some renaming of the blocks and menu tabs to make them more obvious. For example I am renaming "Regular Active Orders" to "Orders that needs to be processed (Regular)".

- "How it Works" section is being added.

Since there is no communication off an order having been placed then the Buyer will be cheated on his purchase. Since the money the buyer pays goes to the website owner's account the owner will be blamed.

Dear Modzzz,

soon been 2weeks since FTP and Admin access to the site was given.

Any update on the still existing errors in point 4,5,6?

Any estimate on when the next version with improvements will be released?

The bug in last version with fixed cost seems solved.

There is an issue with sites like yours that are configured with a return URL in Paypal as this bypasses the Return URL that the module uses to process the payment. This causes a ripple effect for all the other issues you are experiencing. The module is being re-worked to use the Dolphin shopping cart instead.

Hi Modzzz

How is the payment for a gig split between the member and admin?

Say the gig value is £20.00 and admin takes 10%

Is the gig value split before being paid into Paypal  - ie: £18.00 goes to the member's Paypal and £2.00 goes to admin's Paypal?

Or is the full amount paid to admin then paid from admin to member?

I'm just trying to calculate the Paypal fees for the admin account.

Would be grateful if you can clarify this.

Thanks

Hi Jerome,

Any chance of you looking at the PayPal adaptive (parallel) payments for this?

Please let me know either way.

Thanks

hi modzzz,

Is it possible to have 'top seller' badge or something similar so good sellers can be recognized by users?

I would also like to suggest a badge / similar for featured gigs ...

Hi Jerome,

Is there a way to ensure that only the gig owner has the ability to edit it?

If the actions button to edit is enabled, currently any member of the same membership type can edit any gig.

Thanks

By default, only the Gig Owner and Administrators can edit a Gig. You have enabled the edit any gig membership action. Disable it and your problem is solved.

Jerome,

Is there a way to change this browse/my&modzzz_gigs_filter=add_gig

to just browse/add (or something similar) ?

I have changed the language keys from Gig to Item, so this also needs to change.

Thanks
