Page Access control not working!

I want to prohibit users from being able to see the "dolphin admin login splash page" should there be someone curious enough to type in /admin or administration.

I tried it with page access but no luck....any idea?

PAC for 7.1 works perfect. Using on this site

try any pages, all you can see, the forums and index.

If you want to block the admin login page you could also use the .htaccess in the admin dir. Either by only allowing your IP or having the standard Apache login popup. The first one is assuming you have a static IP and they both assume you're using Apache.

It is working for me.  You may not be entering the correct syntax for the pages to block; read the topic on Page Access Control to see how to match pages.

Yeah, I just tried it and it works for me too. If you want to go that route instead of .htaccess just go into page access control and this:

administration/.*

as an access rule and select all the member types. After you do you'll always have to login as admin from the member side of the site and then go into admin.
