PROFILE NOT AVAILABLE FOR VIEW on the homepage

Hi there,

I've just visited my homepage to find that it'snot there anymore. It's been replaced by a PROFILE NOT AVAILABLE FOR VIEW message. (see: www.tonguetide.com)

I haven't made any major changes, only recently I reduced the number of visible blog posts and directory entries on the homepage and added a new Adsense code.

Any ideas why this has happened?

The "profile not available" is what shows up as an error page for many dolphin installs (they've fixed it in recent releases to "page not found"... I think. I may have just applied a fix.). Try undoing each change that you've made on the homepage and see if you can't see which change is throwing errors.

Maybe your .htaccess? Add /index.php and you can view your site fine. You could add the following to your .htaccess until you figure it out:

DirectoryIndex index.php

I worked it out in the end. For some reason, the permissions on the index.php had changed. Not sure why...
