PHP accelerator in the year 2020. What do you do?

Which one do you use? What did you tweak to make dolphin faster?

Most of the common php accelerators such as APC, eAccelerator, XCache have all be discontinued. They are no longer being developed.

The solution now is to run PHP 7 with it's built in opcache enabled. For most Plesk servers, it is enabled by default.

So with PHP 7, accelerators are no longer needed. PHP 7 and it's built in opcache does what the other accelerators used to do.

If your running a older version of dolphin, then PHP 7 is not a option.
