Orca shows only the raw code

the forum is showing the raw code. i am not sure where to even start to try and correct this. i did notice that in My Licenses under Domain it says Not Registered. i deleted that license and got a new one. still the same thing. not sure of this is the problem.

Depending on what you mean by raw code, but it sounds like your host doesn't have xsl enabled or compiled on the server. Ask them if xsl is enabled or post example of what you mean by raw code.

well we just noticed that it only shows the html in firefox. works fine in IE. Are the issues with dolphin and firefox?

I am facing the same problem in my site installed it shows the same error what is seen here is it because of firefox ? how to rectify this ? Any idea?

ok, having the same exact problem in firefox but not ie: http://www.aabcts.com/orca/ and considering I am installing this for a client its rather aggravating/embarrassing. Anyone know what is going on here and how we can fix it?

One of the possible solutions is that your server has not php compiled with dom_xsl

OK - the next logical question would be: is it possible for users of a shared hosting service to recompile php with XSL, and if so, could someone please advise just how that's accomplished? (A link to a tutorial would be great if you'd rather not take the time to write it all out here).

Users of a shared hosting service don't have the ability to restart their server since it's being shared by other users, and you're also usually not allowed to edit php.ini since it's a global file for all users (am I correct about that assumption?).

These are the server requirements for the orca forums.

• Linux/Unix (RedHat, Debian, FreeBSD, Mandrake, etc.) or Windows OS
• Apache Web Server
• PHP 4.4.0/5.1.0 and higher compiled with XML and XSL
• MySQL 4.1.0 and higher

So yes, XML and XSL are required.

Personally i use and recommend terabyte-hosting.com.

Most all problems installing and running dolphin are hosting issues.
