Orca required?

Hi, Did a search and can't seem to find the answer to a question I have.

I don't like the limited functions in ORCA. I want my users to upload pictures, link youtube videos, etc.

I also want more than a 2 tiered catagory system and the ability to assign moderators.

I am using dolphin ad-free and after doing some search on the internet and here, there doesn't seem to be any real mods that i can find to upgrade the orca to do the things i want it to do.

Can i use another php forum system with dolphin and integrate the dolphin user dabatase to it?

if you know of one...or can help with this. I'd certainly appreciate it a bunch

Yes its possible to use another scripts, most used is phpBB3 but you need a modification to make a bridge between both.
The best modification I know is from eSASe. The script has now some little problem with the leatest version, so it must be updated.

I was told that in Dolphin 7.0a it will be easier to intergrate a forum script into Dolphin.

The new Dolphin 7.0a should be out soon.
