Orca language installation

I just installed a language for Orca. But after the installation nothing appears. How back? how to reinstaller orca?

I'm not expert on this, but what I did after having trouble:

1. Go to your site/orca/classes  -->Find the folder with the language you installed, for example: es(for Spanish) fr(for French, etc.) and delete it.

2. Go to your site/orca/js -->Find the folder with the language you installed, for example: es(for Spanish) fr(for French, etc.) and delete it.

3. Go to your site/orca/layout -->Find the folder "base_es", "uni_es" (the part in red depends on your language, for example in my case it was es because my language was Spanish, but in your case it could be another one) delete them.

4. Go to your site/orca/xml/lang -->Find the file with the language you installed and delete it.

NOTE: It's a good idea to backup all your orca folder before doing any changes. That way if you have problems you're able to undo.

Now, I found that it's quite important to translate the language file into the same server, because when I did it with notepad it didn't work because of the codification. So I copied the en.php, I named it es.php and I edited it in my server. Then I went to admin panel/plugins/orca forum and I compiled the es language, reloaded my browser and it worked excellently.

This is for Orca on 6.1.6

I was having permissions issues with not being able to recompile my EN in orca after I move my files to a new server so I followed these instructions (per another post) and it makes it so I can recompile the language, however only blank screen appear in place of posts and topics.

I uploaded back my original files and it fixed the white screen problem, however every time I recompile the blank screen problem comes back so I have to re upload the originals again, thus never recompiling the language which is the objective here, to make some changes.

Any ideas?

(I thought I had all my file permissions set correctly but It didn't do the trick so I did this method of deleting certain files)
