Orca Freeze

I'm trying to work with dolphin 6.1.4  I am unable to post a topic in the forum. Everything looks fine but when I log in, either as admin or as a member and go into a forum I can't post a new topic. It appears to freeze!! Once you click "New Topic" a dialog box appears that says "loading post topic page". I'm then taken to the topic entry page BUT, nothing ever happens..the dialog box continues on and on and on, ontop of the page and won't allow any other actions. I am then forced to click the back button to return to the forum index. The same thing happens with 'groups' if I attempt to post a topic.
