Orca Forum Language Compile Fails

After careful consideration, I have come to the conclusion that the Orca Language Compile process sucks.

I've tried everything, and nothing works.... and yes I have tried everything ever suggested.  I know, the only thing that will work, is to download the base and base_en folder, rename them according to the template I am using, then re-upload them.  Why in hell should I have to do this every time??  Why do I even need to do it in the first place.. just because I switched templates?

Another thing.... when the SomeTemplate_en folder is created, it is created with a permission of 777.   That fine... unless you happen to be running suPHP like so many hosting providers are these days, where folder permissions must be 755.

This is such a common problem, that has yet to be addressed by Boonex.   Please do something about this already.

My opinions expressed on this site, in no way represent those of Boonex or Boonex employees.

True. Been there, done it on my sites, done it on client sites, messed up on client sites. Do not care once again. Not sure I should really care as much to note it here. I am trying to move on...
