Opera browser failure to process date popup window

I found that the Opera browser fails to process the date+time popup window. i.e. the popup displays but the date/time is not transferred to the input field. I tested it on two Dolphin 7.0.9 websites, one being a recent installation, and both exhibited the same bug.  

Has anyone found this problem and figured out how to fix it?  I realize that Opera 11 on Windows 7 is a relatively rare occurrence and I only use it for testing cross-browser compliance.
