Once more another installation problem for you all

right bassically i have installed everything as it says on the install page, now i changed the needed permissions back to what they should be so people cant tamper with the site i presume but no luck when i try to view the site nothing displays.

any help would be so much appreciated :)

my friend said maybe it might be the server that doesnt accept permissions 666 and 777 im not sure if this is the case but if you heard of a problem like this please i would really like to know how to solve it :)

I am not aware of your total circumstances but i once had similar troubles. Mine however had to do with the hosting companies permissions they would not allow 666 and 777 on thier servers. I would suggest contacting them to see if they allow the needed permisions on thier server.
