OMG, I think Im braindead..lol

Ok, So I put the fixes in place and everything is working just fine EXCEPT anytime I add a module or recompile my language, I get _ (underscores) in everything ans my language file gets messed up. I have to re-upload the lang-en.php file to set it back.

Ok, Someone help me out here. I know Im gonna slap myself for this later.

I notice that too but when i refresh the page again after seeing the _bx_chat it refreshes to the correct name.

I tried refreshing and it didnt seem to work for me :(

Even if the only thing I do is go into the Admin Panel, click Settings> the Language Settings and click Compile, everything switches to _bx_mmi_advanced_settings  and so on. It does this for everything in the headers, menu, etc.

OK, I keep trying and cannot figure this out. How can I re-compile a new English language file WITHOUT having to re-install?

yep i was getting the same thing.  change one thing in the admin panel and get underscores everywhere.   look in the lang folder sure enough file size 1k   look in the db strings 0 ...   pretty nice

Did you ever find a resolution?

i deleted the hole site and database then added the files from change set 3259 befor installing again   then reinstalled the rc

Anyone know how to fix this without a full site re-install?
