OK, tired of the childish names here on BoonEx for staff members; not everyone in the world is familiar with "Ship" names and what rankings they hold or what the structure is.
I get emails from members asking questions about upper management members at BoonEx whom they don't know actually work for BoonEx!
Questions about hiring them and if they can be trusted! They wait for weeks before they reply or do the work. What is even worse, the work is parsed to someone outside, then the communication breaks down. So sad.
No wonder the forums here have died.
As Andrew Boon is "Captain," under would be AlexT, head programmers "Navigators," him and the other higher up's the "Bosuns," and the moderators are "MasterBosuns." Please get real.
I myself am clueless to these stupid terms.
To me it's childish and should be named according to a normal corporate names for staff to stop the confusion.
Perhaps they could get some pointers from the page link below.
