No chat buttons visible

I have the Boonex A/V chat module enabled and have all the settings on, but there is no "Chat" button visible on any user's profile or popup window.  I of course have the chat menu item at the top, and clicking on it brings us to the Lobby of a new chat.  But there does not appear to be any way to invite anyone to any kind of chat, either text or video.  I've attached a screenshot of the button choices available for both hovering over a member's image, and for when you go into their profile.  In this case the member is online.  Please help.  We would really like to be able to use this feature.  Thanks.

I just installed that today, and also read somewhere that I had to install "desktop". Which I did.  

Now thankfully the buttons are showing up when a person is online.

However, I seem to be struggling against the other reported issue of the invite to the other party either not showing up or being kind of hidden or something.  I did type in the field and send a "hello" so I'm not just waiting for the invite without content.  But I have no response from the other user yet, so I don't know if it is working correctly.

What ways are there to make the invite more visible or audible?

Also, there doesn't seem to be any video happening in the video chat portion.  I did enable and allow flash to use my camera.  Just don't see it doing anything.
