We're planning to migrate our Wordpress News Site to Dolphin 7, but there are some questions. If I explain our goal you can maybe tell me how to achieve this:
We'd like to have two major blocks on our front page: our own news articles and a block where we can cherrypick content created by the users. Everything from blog posts to videos, sounds and status updates. Sort of a moderated activity stream (I also wonder why there is no general activity stream block to place on the front page?).
In this way we like to elevate the community so that they to are part of producing news.
Our advertisers will also become members with ability to highly customizing their profiles and groups. The content they produce we'd like to cherrypick and present like in the first example but in another box. We're also interested in ways to promote this group with other features, paid modules or not?
