News Articles wont publish

I went to modules -> news filled out all the fields however they are not showing up in my news section.  Anyone have any idea what could cause that?

Are they showing up in the admin section?

If so, if the publish news automatically option is not on, the the news article may be marked as inactive. Also known as unpublished. You may need to select it and publish it.
