We are looking to launch a community website and have been researching some software options. I am REALLY excited about Dolphin.
I've done some searching, but hopefully the community will know some better configurations for what I am trying to accomplish.
Much like this site, it has seperate 'tabs' on the side for 'forum' 'answers' etc.
Our main goals at the moment, are to find a way to incorporate a WIKI style knowledge base that the community can submit articles/edit and make annotations to. Just like mediawiki, but integrated in the site.
I noticed there is standard forum support, so that rocks!
we are looking video portal, just like youtube. Where users can upload videos. and have simple features like comments / rating.
the last part is a auction area. With e-bay style auctions.
There are many software suites out there to do all of this - But we are looking for a all-in-one solution, that way users can just register to one site. Maybe if someone knows of way to do this using Dolphin, and integrate the users database tables with other software suites, that would be great.
