I don't think it's bad, but the forum's layout is clearly broken. Probably a WIP.

Indeed, the color of the text font is not pleasant and did not have to read comfortably.

The graphic designers some time ago came up with the very bad ideal of low contrast text thinking it "looked better".  Many sites, including news outlets, jumped on the wagon.  It was one of the worst things to hit the internet because every site you went to you had to strain to read the text.  There are rules to web design for a reason.  Colour combinations matter.  If you want to use blue text for the titles, it needs to be a very dark blue text, not the colour that Boonex is now using.  Oh, no to the blue text on the light green background.

Just leave the forum text the way it was.  If you really want to make an improvement, move the report button, the forums are full of comments that the report button was click on accidentally.  Since it is probably not monitored, just remove it completely because I don't think reporting goes to anyone LOL.  If it did, they would see many times where it was click on by accident.

Well, it is more mobile friendly. Although after login in profile page has no direct link to forum. Had to search.using Android. From forum llinks to Home/features etc. did not work.  Still needed to adjust page to view forum post sliding horizontal.

I will have to agree with this as well. Needs some more adjustments and definitely a change in the 'color' thought process.

Well, it is more mobile friendly.

I prefer to call it desktop unfriendly.  Maybe if I were using a VGA monitor, it would be OK.  I just can't get on board with presenting a website according to the lowest common denominator, ie, tiny little cell phone display.

HL, as always, you bring common sense thinking to the forum. Needless to say, if the color on the desktop doesn't blind you then you can always gain a few more wrinkles by squinting at those tiny screens. The point was Boonex is now more responsive. Perhaps when the teenagers get tired of looking at those small screens and come to their senses. They will come to the realization that the internet experience is much better on a larger screens. (As long as the color isn't #00b0f6)

Perhaps when the teenagers get tired of looking at those small screens and come to their senses.

It is regrettable that the controlling force in how a Dolphin website is to appear on my expensive desktop computer, is the viewing experience provided by some teenage little weenie's cell phone that their mommy bought for them.

I was surprised by the new theme and it looked not too bad to me for the first couple minutes. Of course, colors are not for human eyes. Now I have pain in my eyes.

Would be great to solve profile menu problem when you are on the forums and click user icon on the top right corner. It just goes to your profile instead of showing drop-down menu.

What I really like is the large search field on the marketplace. Probably would be better to let it stay on the top bar when page is scrolled down. Would be more efficient and visible.

Also I would make less transparency on top bar and user drop-down menu, sometimes it's uncomfortable to read when some graphic is behind that transparency.

Nice to see Mobile License in the list as a separate license, finally. "Get Started" page is much cleaner and understandable now.

The main question is colors... "Baby blue" colors personally hurts my eyes.

Well, excited to see it when it's finished.

When it comes to reading text, it is all about the contrast.  Think about this, when you are shopping for a telly, you look at that contrast ratio for a reason; the same applies to websites.  The higher the contrast of the text to the background the easier it is for humans to read the text.  Just went to the blog and I see light grey text on white for the excerpts; that is as bad as red on blue, or blue on red.  At least when you click to go read the post the contrast is normal.

If this stays, I am going to need to find that browser plugin that allows me to change the CSS and store it for the site for visiting Boonex.

That's great idea actually, just found Chrome extension which calls "Decreased Productivity", but was not sure about installing it, as it will read all data from the pages I visit

and who knows if it will send it somewhere else.

Can't find Greasemonkey, but found "Stylish" which already have presets for many popular sites and allows you to create your own.

post a new topic is broken.

The layout looks terrible.

3 menus stacked on top of one another.

half a page of real estate to get to the first forum post.  (1920 x 1080)

the logo looks super pix-elated.

but hey looks and works great on a 2 inch by 5 inch screen.

And the download link does not work. Well, it works, takes you to http://www.boonex.com/paymentprovider/payment but when you click the link to download it, it does nothing other then to display the "Thank you for downloading" message, but the download never starts.

And yea. I don't like the colors either.

Hello

Got a report that market purchases appear to not be working either.

Fixed. Thank you for the report!

Maybe you should add some bright yellow, it makes the color pencil box complete.

Please switch ALL this Bright Blue Text back to Black.

Bugs:

1 . Forum topic name overlap the user picture on mobile.

2. Forum thread don't adjust properly on mobile, not responsive.

Rest the colour scheme seems odd, a bit childish.

I had hoped there would have been a better color palette by now.  This site is like staring at the sun, and gives me a headache almost immediately.

I still have scars on my retina from viewing Steve The Exploiter's tiki bar site a few years ago, and this isn't helping.

Ok, colors have been adjusted and most bugs have been hunted down. Please, do let us know if there's anything not working properly for you.

Make sure to reset your browser cache.

Also, Forums are NOT finished yet - we'll be making more changes to make things fit together nicely and not all colors are finalised on forums yet. Should be where we want it by the end of the week.

Also I think that the menu (market | Forum | Etc..) should be placed in the header fixed on top. But please make it a drop down selector when used on tablet or phone..

Have the forum index at the bottom of the page all collapsed.  You are wasting valuable vertical real estate.  Also increase the number of forum post listed.  I know the forum is not very active at the moment but hopefully that will soon change.

I think it's coming together. The only things I would do is replace that neon green post count on the forum index when on mobile - and make the license cards under the user's account be centered (right now it's slightly off to one side).
