New Generation EVO. Here the info to visit the demo site

just the last details, before to release the new generation of the EVO Modules.

If you want see the mods at work, this is the demo site:

In this site is also installed the module "Deny Unconfirmed" to block a part of the spam.

So you must confirm the registration to use the site correctly.

Hey Guys!  Lovin the new wall, and looking forward to seeing it in the Marketplace.  I was able to post a comment and include a url from the wall on my account page.  However, after posting another comment and url  on my profile page's wall, nothing showed up?  I navigated back to my account page, and the 2nd post was visible.  I went back to my profile page, and the 2nd post was now visible.  Anyway, just a glitch that you may want to look at.

BTW, are you using Shrink The Web service to display images from a url?  If not, is there something that will be required for us to have the same functionality as your demo?

about the URL share, EVO dont use 3d party services. It's just un embedding of the image retriving the address of the image.

If in the future the image will not still present in the source site, just you'll continue to see all the informations for the site but not the image.

Using this approach:

1) you can disinstall the module Boonex Sites (if you want). The URL tools of EVO is not dipendent by Boonex Sites

2) you save space in your site because you dont store the images of the site, it's just an embedding

I had similar issue with URL link, when I posted it to test wall on my profile (your site) it refreshed but nothing showed. I tried again, same thing.

Then I posted a photo, the page refreshed and did show the photo, along with both URL links!

Can you confirm, is the profile EVO wall, only visible to friends list?

Is there also a site EVO wall that everyone can post to?

Hello,

we are already working to fix the issue of the refresh for the link in the profile wall.

About the profile's wall privacy, the administrator can choose the default privacy for the profile's wall.

For example he can decide for "members" so each member can see the profile wall of a member of the site.

After, each profile can manage own privacy, so, even if the administrator have imposed the privacy to "members", if you decide to not display your wall to the members (but for example just for friends), a member (not friend) see a message of private wall as you can see in the image attached.

We have fixed the issue with the URL links in the profile page.

Great. Can you let me know does EVO wall have a site wall as well as profile wall? One that all members can see all site activity?

EVO allows to display tre different type of news

- in the home page you can display the activities of all the members or just of the friends

- in the account page you can display the activities of all the members or just of the friends

- in the profile page you can allow the access just to the friends, or to all the members (but also it's possible a public access or the option "only me"

These settings are managed by the administrator of the site

For example now if you join the site

http://evo.italiansworldwide.com

you can see the post of the member "ilbellodelweb" because he choosed a privacy as you can see in the attached image.

so you can visit the HOME PAGE, where we have choosed the privacy "members", and see all the post of the members that for their profiles have choosed "members" or "public"
