Need help determining if this is malware.

I have FileZilla on my a Mac and began a download to archive a copy of the site.

FileZilla reported 5 php files with a "target file already exists" and prompting me to Overwrite or Skip.

1) This was being downloaded to a directory that previously empty.  (Nothing previously existed here.)

2) If I choose "overwrite" the popup just continued again and again saying the same thing with same file.

3) This only happened on 5 files in very different places but all php files.

4) See attached screen shot.

5) When i used cyberduck download for Mac this was not repeatable.  But continues with FileZilla for Mac.

Do I need to worry about malware having got on our site?

What additional tests should I do?

If it is a problem, how can I clean it?

THANK YOU!  THANK YOU!  For helping me!

Sincerely,

jim

It should go and overwrite the file basic_settings.php how ever in your case its abnormal that it keep asking to overwrite. If you have active AV on PC or laptop, I think there is nothing to worry.

And old guys 2 cents:  It costs.. but it's a web icon and one of the best FTP out

there and "made in Texas"... CuteFTP.   I have been with them so long they give

me my license for free when they upgrade.
