I have a database of former members of my site when it was just a forum. I took over the site that was once supposed to be opening as poker gambling site, but never did.
There are two lists one has 7000 people that signed up to the poker forum and the other has 29,000 that wanted to sign up for the poker site when it launched. Now since I have no intention of launching a poker site I do not want to use the larger list but because the other db of 7k members where part of the poker forum I want start notify that the site is back up in beta version.
I want to use the mass mailer to do this, I have read other threads on how to do add my old db to the new one using the news letter function, my questions are
1. how many emails will the mailer send out at a time, and can I change it so that all 7k get sent over a week
2. does the mass mailer send out the emails in order a batch at time.
3. Is 7k too much for the system
4. Is this morally wrong to use the news mailer.
