Need A Couple of Modifications To Existing Module

I am looking for someone that has the available time to take on a small project and to complete it in a timely manner. If you do take on this project, I prefer that you have the available time to complete it once it is started and that you are able to communicate regarding updates, changes and the like in a reasonable time as well.  

I recently purchased and installed the Pet Profile Module onto my Dolphin site.  I just need a small customization done to it however as It is missing something for my application.

I need someone that can take the existing module and ADD a "Pet Pedigree Page" to the Pet Profile Page.  The Pedigree page would need to have a link from the Pet Profile Page from within a Page Block Area.  (I think I can create the link using the standard HTML page block).  

But when the link/image within the page block is clicked, I need a NEW page to open that would be an extension of the existing pet profile page.  This new page would have a Pedigree Chart on that page that would be specific for each animal Pet Profile.  (I posted an example image of how it should look below / this is NOT an existing page screen shot, I made this image on my computer, but is how I want it to look.)

The Pedigree chart should have information spaces for the cart progression that is filled in by thee MEMBER creating the pet profile, NOT by the admin.  Therefore each Pet Profile page would have it's own unique Pedigree page.   The custom pedigree fields could be part of the Pet Profile account creation process,  I could show a simple diagram that would make this work if you can add the custom fields.

As for the Pet Profile Page it's Self, I still need one Minor customization to it.  The "Info" Box for the Pet Owner Information still needs some custom fields added to it as well.  (Detailed below).   Also, the Pet Info Box Still needs some custom fields added to it also.  (Also shown below).

I can provide the custom fields titles, if you can make it part of the Pet Profile Account creation process, thank you.

RECAP

1.  Pedigree page block.  I put up a simple example of how I want it to look, link here:

      (the pedigree page block lower right corner).

2.    I would still like full size pedigree page to be printer compatible.  (ONLY the pedigree chart itself should be printable,

       NOT the entire page.).  If this is something that would take extra time, we can make this part of a phase 2 if needed.

3.   "Recommend Box".  I would like to add the "Facebook Share" button in this area for each Pet Profile page.

4.    I would like somewhere in the Information Box (Stats Box) for there to be a click-able button on the Pet Profile Info Block

        that would take the person to the Pet Owners Store (Open Cart Module).  *Not a requirement, but would be a really nice.

5.   Pet Owner Info page block on Pet Profile page.  I need more options for custom information here. To the Pet Owner, the

      fields would  be optional and leaving them blank would NOT prevent posting the profile.  (Info such as Phone #, email

      addy, contact info etc).

6.    The Pet Profile Pedigree Page should still look like this in Screen Shot # 1 Below.

7.    I need the pet's Profile Image to be displayed on the Pedigree chart page just like shown below.

8.   I would like to watermark my logo on the pedigree chart section if you're able.  (We can come back to this)

Each individual pet, even individual pets from the same member will each have their own pedigree chart. it would be easier if the member could fill this out themselves during the Pet Profile creation process.   The list of Pedigree Generations could be a simple cascading set of text boxes for each field set.

I would start by contacting the module creator as they kow their module inside and out. THey may be able to give you what you need a lot easier and quicker. Just a thought.

This sounds interesting.  Can a third party make a modification to a module?  Most of the modules say they can be modified for own personal use; does that include getting someone else to do the work?

Yes, anybody can make a modification for someone. That does not mean that the person doing modification can use the module or owns it in anyway (other than the part of code he added).

 so does this mean that all those mods i have that don't work with 7.1 and the developer has gone AWOL (or freely admits that they are not going to update them), i can make a post to see if someone can get them to work and i can pay them for their work?

 Yes, but the original developer will always own the copyrights of "his" work.

If anyone is even remotely interested in this job request.  I have references on here that I pay promptly and without hassle.  - Geek_Girl can even very that I am easy to work for as well.

I need to get my site launched in a REALLY bad way!    Like within the next 2 weeks preferably.

Usually developers are looking for job posts on Market Jobs, why not to post your job offer there instead of "General and Presale" Forum?
