Navigation menu builder PRO (AndrewP)

AndrewP "Navigation menu builder PRO" support thread here

Quote · 1 Nov 2013

Hi Andrew, I have been looking for such a module with a special feature. I would like to have submenus visible on their respective pages but not on the main menu bar. For example, while on the Home Page no submenus should be listed under main bar tabs, but when you click on say Events, the submenus will be listed horizontally across next to the title of the page. I noticed that when you remove submenus off the main title bar that they are removed from their respective pages also. Can this module be modified so that the submenus will show up on their respective pages but not under the main bar?

Your request is possible, but not as a builder (like my builder).

This is off-topic a bit, but, I can recommend you to experiment with changing types of top menu elements into 'system' menu elements.

Basically, you can change the type of the 'events' menu section from 'top' to 'system'. In this case this element will be invisible in the navigation menu, but anyway, you will have it's submenu elements.

I have purchased your Navigation Menu Builder PRO module and i am very happy with it.

I have just one big problem, as example, if i add the Events module to a top menu named "Discover" and i open the Events module the whole sub menu is not existing anymore. I mean the sub menu where all the sub menu entries and the buttons for "Add Event" and "My Events" are displayed.

Is it possible to use your NMBP and get the sub menus back?

Thanks!

Hi Ralf,

In case if you use the standard menu (UNI), you will need to correct it a bit to allow displaying the buttons of the submenu in nested levels.

Ok, would be nice if you can advice how to do this!?

Here are just several corrections in the base functionality (PM for details)

Every now and then the nested sub menus just disappear from the main menu and I have to "SAVE" and "Backup in file" in the module's admin page to recover them.  This also needs to be done after clearing the cache for some reason.

Please provide me with a solution for this problem.

Thank you.
