I have updated to 7.0.2, no problems during the process. When making some changes to the Navigation Menu, every Active item is displaying on one line? None of the sub-items are listed below their respective parent.
The same problem exists at BoonEx.us as well. (http://www.demozzz.com/admindemo/administration/nav_menu_compose.php)
Guys...serious problem that has wiped out my entire setup - argh!
Please Help!!!

I use Chrome and I have had no problems with the D7.02 Upgrade.
There are none so blind as those that will not see. |
I use Chrome and I have had no problems with the D7.02 Upgrade.
I've had issues in Chrome with jquery drag / drop functionality.
Maybe just a Mac issue - Chrome for Mac has only just come out of beta. I reported the issue to the Chrome devs.

I'm using Firefox, but after resetting my browser and clearing it's cache, BoonEx.us is working as it should, however, my wiped out navigation menu is not! I've tested in Chrome, Safari, IE8 and of course FF. Oh, and since this was asked, I use Windows and Apple computers, just like my clients.
Upon further review of this update, I no longer have the core Profile View (System item)

I have no idea where to begin on fixing this since I cannot create one using the "new item" block...can someone please help me?
Thanks - Jethro

I too am having the same problem, and its just killed any hopes of an upgrade tonight - and our d6 site broke too and has slowly been losing us visitors, so now we've made the leap we're still losing custom! What's the fix, PLEASE?
|
I fixed it somehow, verry flaky experience though I'd get a look! It seems to be an issue with creating a menu item before its page/language file is created.
in PHPMyAdmin I dropped the table for D7's top nav menu and re-imported the same table from a clean copy of d7 - didn't change a thing. But I did this after:
- Cleared the cache in D7
- Opened IE8 (just in case its a templating issue)
- Rebuilt my menu, deleting bits and bobs until it finally behaved a *bit* better (random!)
- Added a language string for my new menu item called _schedule_top_menu_item
- Put the text 'Schedule' in the language string (My menu item display name).
Finally I have a menu that behaves, and sizes correctly too (The lack of language file kills the menu width).
Hope this helps someone anyhow, helped me!

Dolphin 7.02 new install page nav_menu_compose.php
|
Yep...I resorted to reinstalling the entire site - not pleasant!
Lastly, I had to pay Anton to install. 3 attempts between myself (novice programmer) and my developer who is extremely qualified, could not get the body of the site to display? Have no clue what the deal is, but it's finally up and running with no problems.
Now I'm tweaking...

Having the same issue with motdradio. I moved a dolphin installation from one server to another (copied files and db, and changed the relevant paths and db names/credentials in inc/header.inc.php) and when I went to nav_menu_compose.php my menu got mangled showing the [id,name, parent] format . Tried drop the table and re-import it from scratch from 7.0 then perform the upgrade to 7.0.2 to no avail. There seems to be some serious issue with nav_menu_compose.php or there is something that needs to change to point to the new db/folder on the new server that I haven't found just yet.
Any help from Boonex there would be appreciated. |
Update: The problem has been spotted and it's the inc/js/classes/BxDolMenu.js file
Apparently an older version of the file was copied (!) to the new server or it did not get copied during the upgrade. Just fetch it from the 7.0.2 patch package or the svn trunk and replace the old one. Worked like a charm ever since. |
