NEED HELP ON INSTALLING PHP 5.6

I AM WILLING TO PAY IF SOMEONE CAN INSTALL 5.6 (NOT PHP 7 IT WILL NOT WORK WITH DOLPHIN 7.3.5)

pLEASE LET ME KNOW. I NEED THE NEW 5.6 COMPLETELY CONFIGURED WITH THE PHP.INI FILE

AS WELL AS ANY MISSING .DLL FILES FOR EXTENSIONS.

I GET PAID ON THE 26TH OF JUNE. I CAN PAY FOR IT THEN

What control panel are you using? I'm not sure, but I think CPanel has a setting to choose version. 

If you're on a shared server, ask you Host to change PHP to 5.6. Some may growl, so consider moving on.

I'm testing Vesta and I've just changed it to 5.6, but haven't tested it yet.

i am sure that linux php.ini will work with windows php. as it is only a configuration file.

but ya. there is no cpanel for my windows server. as it is after all, windows and not linux.

I have tried over and over to get a working config file for php 5.6 none of the things i have tried worked.

copying over earlier php.ini did not work. but the sad part of it is the php.ini file for php 7.x works.

and the previous php.ini for older versions work as well. so i am stuck with an older version of php and the script says it may not be fully functional without  php 5.6 installed. so i need someone to other give me a fully 5.6 working php.ini file or have someone manually install it. willing to pay as long as it does not cost me a small fortune. any takers. i get paid on june 26th 2019

As with the setups on Linux, Different Windows Distributions offer different WAMP setups. I use Uniform Server and the lastest distributions refuse to run Dolphin 7.3.5.

Are you running your setup as a personal (testing) server, or are you connected to the Internet and running a live site? It will make a difference for the person trying to help you.

PHP.INI is a very simple text file designed to trigger different options in PHP. Changing an INI file won't Change PHP 7 back to PHP5.6 . you need to install the entire script.

I can give you a small WAMP setup that should run out of the box, however it's only a personal server. I say that because they claim it can be run on a memory stick.

I tried working with the poster but he wouldn't grant me full access to the server; which makes it more difficult to do things; limited access through ftp.  The php.ini file is just a text file for configuration.  However, the actually php files are windows dlls.  I suggest contacting Dolphin Jay as he is the expert on Dolphin on Windows Server.  However, you will have to allow him full access to your server.

Dolphin php requirements are listed as PHP 5.3-5.6 for Dolphin 7.2-7.3.
