Hi,

When you created your database did it in fact say that your database host is mysql1056.servage.net? If not try localhost. Do not worry about the socket path. Leave it as default. If it does not work post back here and we will try to help.

Some host specifically identify an IP address or URL. I would first check inside your hosting control panel were you build your SQL db's. Usually when you go to create one you'll see a message from the host telling you the way SQL should be connected to. Although 99% of the time "localhost" will work fine...I have seen more and more host identifying IP's especially GoDaddy or anyone Reselling out of GoDaddy.
