Bummer to have cold snap and rain my last week in the wild..

extended stay couple more days, now the April 8th.

I'm jealous... there's nothing more relaxing than spending time in the woods killing things to eat.

I am sure Newton has much more respect for the life of the animals that feeds him than those that walk the supermarket aisles picking up packages of meat that no longer resembles the animal that use to be alive and walking the earth or swimming in the waters.

The horses still love my bug.

 GG..... Sometimes you make absolutely no sense.  I'd venture a guess that most meat that is prepared for consumption no longer resembles the antemortem appearance of the animal.   Well..... I suppose I could fashion a meatloaf in the likeness of a cow, if I put my mind to it.

 Well, being close to 33 degrees that day, no ice was needed.

Besides when filleted they are still alive and two hours later when I dumped the bodies, they were still trying to breath, I guess you have never filleted a catfish. Maybe I should have made a video too.

Not so much vacation as a family visit and turkey hunting is in season here.

[edit] I also came to get my share of my dad's deer.

The last deer I got, was with a brand new Avis Cadillac Deville.  No... I've never filleted a catfish.... can't stand the things.  I'd probably eat one of those horses first.

Yes, HL, I not the hunter, I do fish.. the dear is my dad, I can't kill a "website," my sister has to do it, I just reap the rewards!

 Everyone that is eating at McDonalds, is eating something other than beef in those burgers.  I've seen on-the-hoof videos of so-called South American beef that McDonalds imports.  Pretty strange looking "cattle" they were.... especially when they were scaling mountains.  We call 'em goats in Texas.

It's that time again, for my clients and contacts.

I will be away til May 15th.

On my annual vacation.

Horses are like Pets in the UK .... Just like we would not eat the family dog >> we don't eat horses willingly !
