My site is very low !

Hi all,

I find my site slow, and even more since I have members (120 registration in 2 days).

How to make it less slow please?
Tips or other?

Thanks

It's probably going to be hard for you to get an answer when people have to join your site to view pages, just to see the problem.

Well, if you are on a shared hosting then it will be an issue and going forward will get even slower. From what I understand (I too am new), there are certain very important parameters that have to be set correctly for Dolphin to work at it's optimum.

Also depends a lot on your host, did you chat with them?

I had that same problem.. I don't have the members but my pages took forever to load.. Well the frontpages.. The admin loaded just fine.. So I shut off all the cache and loads fine now?? Well least it loads I should say.. But I'm on a shared hosting with TMD..

Get YSlow and turn it on, it'll tell you where and why your pages are loading slowly. Dolphin's basic script fails many web standards for fast loading, and those things you won't be able to do anything about unless you want to rewrite all of the dolphin code entirely. However, there may be things that you can do to make your pages load faster and YSlow can reveal those.
