Multiple selectable options get cut off

Tested with:

IE 8.0.6001.18702
FF 3.5.3

When adding a multiple selector field, some options get cut off. See image:

Fix this so it adds more options on a new line below or have the list created vertical.

Thank you for posting this hd4real.  I also posted this http://www.boonex.com/unity/forums/#topic/Width-of-registration-form-fields.htm but was told I should use a dropdown for this.  Boonex - please fix this.  Since the betas have dragged on so long some people at least want to use the join form for pre-registration, but this makes it almost impossible for some of us.  The registration form needs to be flawless - it is the first thing people see who are considering registering.  This is a serious bug - please fix it.

No problem man. I prefer checkboxes above dropdown checklists. I think checkboxes are easier to understand for users. Dropdown checklists are to much hassle with holding ctrl to select multiple options. Not all users know they should hold down ctrl.

I am EXTREMELY bummed as they didn't fix this again in this version - D7B7.   I don't have time to post an image now but some guy on another thread said this is just a 'wrap" issue, and that is absolutely all they did.  All the text now runs together in one jumble - and it really looks like crap.  How much more can we do to get Boonex attention on things like this?  We post descriptions and multiple picture and get people to agree with us and nothing happens.  Meanwhile people with access to trac get to post obscure new features whenever they want when something absolutely critical is ignored and stays broken.   As OK web pointed out - this worked fine in D6 - Boonex even had the code.    I am VERY disappointed in the approach they are taking to addressing bugs like this.

Thanks Dan, I will try to make that fix, but as I said, they couldn't have done it properly because it would require changed to both the join form, and the profile fields so we could select the number of items on a like, as Okweb pointed out.  Here is the picture I redacted that shows what it looks like on my site now.  Hopefully this will be at least a temporary fix.

Multiple select checkboxes

Much better!  I still wish we could select the number of items on each line, but at least it isn't embarrassing any more.  Next project - trying to convince Boonex how crappy the two columns in the classifieds look.  It only took four weeks and a team effort to get those two lines of code, so no predictions on how long that will take.

Multiple select checkboxes

Boonex,  could we please get this fixed in the next release.  The whole idea of check boxes is that it allows you to display a large number of items in an organized fashion, but having them all in one row like this defeats the purpose.    As OK web pointed out,  having the option to select number of items per line worked fine - we went backwards in D7.  Please bring this back to the level of functionality we had in D6.1

Thank you

Rob
