Multiple Membership Levels

Hi

Can we give a user more than one Membership Level?

You can set a new membership level for a member by editing their profile (Administration -> Members -> [Member]) and selecting a new membership level from the drop-down menu.

You can not set more than one membership level for a member, if that's what you meant.

Edit: You can create a new membership level from Administration -> Settings -> Membership Levels.

Thanks

yes I know how to set it up but,

I think it must be possible to have more than one Membership Level.

let say

Membership Level (A) can have blog

Membership Level (B) can have store

Membership Level (M) can have ads

Membership Level (M) is for forums moderator

user (X) want to have (blogs + store)

user (Y) want to have (ads + store)

or let say one of the forums moderators need a blog!

most scripts can do that

can it be done in Dolphin in any way? or by any plugin in the market!

You can create a new membership level with the proper permissions or modify an existing one, but you can't set more than one membership level for a member.

Edit: Moved.

Probably the best way it to setup different combinations of memberships;

Membership A - Blogs, Articles, Site, Shop

Membership B - Articles, Sites, Events

Membership C - Shop, Ads, Events, Site

Premium Membership - Ability to do all the features.

Does this help?

Is it possible to do something like this with membership levels:

Have two levels of members/profiles:

1. Featured (highly visible - can post images, blog entries, etc)

2. All others (invisible except to themselves & when commenting on Featured members images, blog posts, etc).

[Essentially, 'All others' is similar to being a member of the public - except they have an account consolidating all actions, subscriptions.]

Also, is it possible to have separate (auto) registration procedures for each type of member.
