Has anyone been able to get the join form to work with multiple pages? I set up a five page join form, but it jumps from the first page to the forth page, and then won't accept that. When I had this as a single page, it did hung for some reason, but did work - so this is a weird one. Does the multi-page join form work for others here?

I am going back to a single page, because I need a working join form, but I believe this to be a bug - a serious one. Boonex PLEASE take note - the registration system is extremely critical - we might be able to live with bugs in other parts of the system but not this. I don't think this has anything to do with my set up so if someone can verify this we might be able to persuade them to fix this.

Yes, this is a bug and it needs a ticket!
I have been able to get a 3-page form to work properly, but no more than that.

OK Alex, I just made a long blog comment about how difficult it is to get things into Trac, then came here to find you have entered two of my items there. Please take a look at this join form issue also:

They think they have corrected the multiple select checkbox issue by just adding a "wrap" but it looks terrible (I'll post a pic if you want). This is a step backwards from D6 where we could select the number of rows and items for each set of items. Could we get that item reopened and done properly - I would really appreciate it.

p.s. Gary11 - thanks for the verification - and also for letting me know it works with three pages - that helps.

Can someone explain to me what the solution was? I've looked at the ticket and tried using the most recent source code. It didn't work. I'm using D7.0.3 and the file already has the changeset included. I have no problems with a one page form. When I use a simple two page form, it won't work. The first page passes to the second without problems. It's the second page that shows the small red warning next to the Submit button. However, there aren't any errors displayed further up the page.
Anyone know what is happening here?
Thanks,
Chris

Me too.... 7.0.3 Split join form is faulty. Have set some join profile fields to page 2 but when I test the registration, the submit button is on page 1 then Im passed to page 2 (after clicking submit ) and there is another submit button.... huh?
Going back to 1 very very long login page until there is a solution. Also... while Im in here... can I split profile field options up into columns? Some of my fields have 50 checkbox options and I really dont want to display a linear display of 50 but rather 2 columns of 25.
Giving it another shot...... |
