Moving Hosts

I'm moved all the files to a different server and need to set the correct permissions on all the folders/files. I can't seem to find any info on this. Unfortunately, the way I transfered it did not save the proper permissions. Does anyone have a link for this?

Also, does anyone know if this still applies to ver 7.0.9 or are there additional files that need to be updated?

Thank you in advance for your reply!

That document is for Dolphin 6.1, so ignore it.

Permissions: http://www.boonex.com/trac/dolphin/wiki/DetailedInstall#InstallScript-Step1-Permissions

There's also some permissions at the bottom of the page for the modules.  Ignore if PHP is running via CGI.

For servers running PHP via CGI, it's 644 for files and 755 for directories. ffmpeg.exe is 755.

You also need to edit /inc/header.inc.php to correct the path, domain (if either was changed), and database information (again, if changed).  You should also clear the /cache/ (except for the .htaccess file) and /cache_public/ directories.

Perfect....just what I needed! Thanks for the quick reply Nathan!

Also, if moving up into root directory, (it's in sub_directory now) the only file I need to change is the header.inc.php..right? Also, I know cron jobs ---- but I haven't set those up yet anyway.

Correct, you also will need to clear the cache, cache_public and tmp folders anytime a site is moved. Either server to server or to different folders.
