Mouse Over Bar

Hi,

When you mouse over your main menu, that semi transparent bar comes up and gives you options. Then when you click on a link it sits there with the title of the page you have chosen.

When you have a HTML block on a page, it also has the title at the top of the block. That means I have the page title there twice.

I would like to get rid of that top mouse over bar thing. Just get rid of it totally, I dont need it. Is there a way of doing that?

Failing that, how about a way of getting rid of the top description bar in a HTML block. I tried just not writing anything in it when creating a HTML block but that just had the effect of making my HTML block uneditable!!

Cheers

Max

hhhmm, I was hoping there'd be something I could do. I prefer to do things myself so I know exactly what was done.. Thats how I learn how stuff works.

Plus I dont want to spend any money on Dolphin until I'm absolutely sure it is what i want to use.

Anyone know any quick shortcuts to removing that bar?

Cheers

Hi,

sorry for my bad english, but I'm german, and even the popular german soccer-player Lothar Matthäus said: "Sorry for my english, my german is better" Wink

The solution is rather simple: Open "inc"=>"js"=>"jquery.dolTopMenu.js" and remove/outcomment the following lines at the bottom:

$inactive.hover( show, hide ).each( function() {
if( !$inactiveSubs )
$inactiveSubs = $( $(this).attr('showsub') );
else
$inactiveSubs = $inactiveSubs.add( $(this).attr('showsub') );
} );

Cost's you 50 Bucks...

Best Regards,
TT
