Mobile Capacity/Functionality

Well one of my biggest areas of concern is mobile access to my site{s} !!! I have purchased a mobile mod that allows some new members to gain access to my site that i have the mobile mod added to. I had not added it to my other site as of yet because V 7 is so close to being a reality.                                                                   I have read that a iphone will allow access to full version site and also a android unit. But i have stated time and time again that all the world is not in a position to purchase a iphone or android. And it is common knowledge that mobile internet use is at a all time high and the number of mobile users of the internet grows year in and year out .  I am hoping to hell that the powers that be take these facts into consideration when the final release and the update patch is released.                I have kept telling my members to be patient so i hope that i don"t have egg on my face when its all said and done.

   kind regards                                                                                                                                                           TheGateKeeper

The two biggest players in the mobile world gaining momentum are Android and iPhone. By targeting these types of phones, Boonex is tapping into the latest trend, technology, and gearing itself to remain current for the immediate future.

Well now i have started from scratch once again. I am toying with the idea of buying a mobile mod depending on if the developer can do certain edits to  allow groups in a wap version of my site. I have to  buy a new mod since i lost all the mods i bought when Expertzz closed.

Frank and honest advice for dolphin owners..... it's nice to go mobile, but concentrate on your site more. When you have thousands of members then worry about the mobile apps. I personaly do not know of anyone that has actualy used a mobile app to access a dolphin site other than for testing purposes.....

Thanks very much for the advice. One of my members had asked me to look into going mobile she says i would get more members quickly if i had mobile and if the mobile had groups and if the groups on mobile would have functionality as full site but it cant be done from what i know. So we shall wait.

i think esases mobile wap module is probably the best option for anything mobile at the moment if you do feel this is the right route for your site.
