Mobile App's

Just a thought but don't you think the app should show you online and also show like an icon next to your thumbnail that your on mobile?

Yes it should... But it should work with OS 6 first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was actually discussed a while back. AlexT informed me that the mobile apps do not record the LastNavTime in order to show you as 'Online'.

My own opinion is that it is useless anyway since you cannot 'chat' with the person via mobile. So it doesn't really matter that the person is online or not, again in my opinion.

With the new D7.1 out in Beta, outside of making sure they work with the newest IOS and Android operating systems, I think they need to add:

- The ability to join

- The ability to view/post to the Wall/Timeline ( I mean, that is what 99% of the people do when using mobile apps for 'social' type sites)

- Add videos

- Instant Message

There are some 3rd party apps out there that can be used in these functions, but considering BoonEx has these options available on the site, they should be available via Mobile Apps too. Right now, the mobile apps are pretty much 'view only'. Until they add ways to 'post' content, that is all they will remain.
