Mobile App Requests

I know some of you have been playing around in the mobile apps for Dolphin. I have started rebranding my mobile apps and trying to push the members to use it. With that said, I decided to create a forum post for people to submit their requests for mobile versions of 3rd party apps available in the Unity Market. Here are some of my requests:

Boonex (or someone):

- Add the ability to include the default modules that come with Dolphin via the mobile pages. Ex. Events, Groups, Blogs, Forum, etc. Should be able to create/edit/post and not just 'read'.

- Simple messenger has been mentioned before. Would be pretty cool

- Ability to create albums (since photos is all that can be uploaded at the moment.. at least for photos)

- Ability to Join (I have already mentioned this as well

A Mobile PhotoDeluxe - I have already had people ask about how/where to comment photos. This module allows not only commenting, but ability to share on FB and Tagging. Would be a great mobile addition.

I know it might be difficult, but if you could get your Facebook Connect to work with the mobile app, that would be awesome

There are alot of good modules and developers out there. What would you like to see become a mobile version? I think that this will be a good resource for developers to come in a see what others are interested in when it comes to mobile versions.

All the default boonex modules, especially GROUPS for me, and FORUM

CHAT would be great although the current flash based one would not be any good for iphones.

All of MODZZZ premium range!

Yeah, thats why I was referring to the Simple Chat instead.

I would like for someone to create a way to add a 'Members' option for mobile pages. I personally do not like the 'Search' feature as you will need to know the location or the screen name of the person you are looking for.

I would rather have the option to choose a 'Members' icon from mobile homepage that will display ALL members. Just like the actual website has. When you click the icon, all members of this site appear. Clicking a member will take you to that person's profile so you can choose to become friends.

This should follow the same logic within the site. Meaning, you can control from within the Admin Panel how many members to display on 1 page.

So adding the 'Members' block to mobile pages may or may not be as simple as it sounds :)

Below is the legacy version of the Boonex site, maintained for Dolphin.Pro 7.x support.
The new Dolphin solution is powered by UNA Community Management System.
